DEC-0049 - Profile nudge priority and achievement governance

Phần tiêu đề “DEC-0049 - Profile nudge priority and achievement governance”

Goal optional policy was confirmed, but profile-completion execution, achievement behavior, and nudge arbitration still lacked concrete rules.

Nudge and profile-completion governance:

  • If both goal and profile are incomplete, nudge priority is goal-first.
  • Combined nudge cap is global 1 per day per account.
  • Badge visibility strategy:
    • profile-first,
    • with light Home mention.
  • Profile completion recalculates live from current profile data.
  • Profile info visibility default is private.

Achievement governance (V2):

  • Scope is track + display only in V2.
  • Milestone reward is one-time per milestone (anti-abuse).
  • Social sharing is deferred, but data model remains sharing-ready.

Profile field behavior:

  • Display-name is optional; fallback uses auto-generated friendly nickname.
  • Social signup can seed display-name from social username.
  • Academic profile focus is Program + Score goal with partial completion allowed.
  • Payment milestone is visible for all users and weighted in completion model.
  • Keeps nudges effective without overwhelming users.
  • Enables future achievement expansion without shipping heavy gamification now.
  • Aligns profile model with optional-goal strategy while preserving measurable completion behavior.

A lightweight achievement layer works as motivation now and as infrastructure for future social/reward rollout, without introducing mandatory gates.
