Context

DEC-0037 introduced Home aggregation and dual-state rendering but still included mandatory-task visibility on Home. Product direction is now to keep Home fully non-blocking and remove mandatory-task behavior.

Decision

No mandatory tasks on Home:

• Home does not impose mandatory exercises or mandatory checks.
• Home does not include a mandatory-items surface.

Suggestion-only guidance:

• Home guidance remains optional suggestions only.
• Users can choose to do or ignore suggestions freely.
• Ignoring suggestions has no penalty, no restriction, and no negative progression impact.

Carry-forward compatibility from DEC-0037:

• Home remains aggregate summary across three major feature blocks:
  • Quan ly khoa hoc,
  • Quan ly luyen tap,
  • So tu vung.
• Each block keeps dedicated CTA routes.
• Goal/profile completion nudge remains non-blocking.
• AI Tutor on Home remains on-demand only (no auto-open).
• Self-study/practice stays default emphasis.
• Community teaser remains visible.

Boundary:

• Home stays summary-level and routes users to dedicated pages for deeper workflows.

Decision Value

• Reduces pressure and perceived friction for learners.
• Keeps behavior simple, understandable, and scalable.
• Prevents accidental hard-gating in Home experience.

Rationale

For early engagement, non-blocking suggestions work better than mandatory-task framing and align with the product principle of learner flexibility.
