DEC-0027 - AI Tutor plan reminder channel, timing, and stop policy

Context

After locking daily plan execution, reminder delivery must stay simple and clearly separated from long-term reactivation campaigns.

Decision

Scope boundary:

• This decision applies to AI Tutor 7-day plan daily required reminders only.
• It does not change stage-based inactivity reactivation cadence.

Reminder channels:

• Use in-app reminder + one web push reminder.

Reminder timing:

• Use one fixed daily reminder slot per user local timezone.

Stop rule:

• If learner completes required item for that day, stop same-day reminder immediately.

Simplicity posture:

• Do not add multi-channel blast or adaptive send-time optimization in V2 baseline.

Rationale

Two-channel reminder keeps visibility without channel overload. Fixed-time scheduling is predictable and operationally cheap. Immediate stop after completion avoids unnecessary nudges and preserves trust.
